Osaka Station to Fukuchiyama Station Picture Walkthrough
From Osaka Station to Fukuchiyama Station, the nationwide JR pass is usable.
From Fukuchiyama Station it is possible to transfer to the line bound for Amanohashidate Station as well.
After purchasing a ticket at one of the ticket counters (or if you have a nationwide JR Pass (good as far as Fukuchiyama Station), go through the central ticket gate on the first floor of Osaka Station and turn left.
2. Continue straight ahead, following signs for Platform 3・4 and take the escalater up towards the platform.
3. Once on the platform head to the left side for Platform 4 (not 3 as is visible at the top of the escalator) and board the "KOUNOTORI" and get off at Fukuchiyama Station if that is your destination, or transfer at Fukuchiyama Station for trains bound for other stops in Kyoto by the Sea, like Amanohashidate Station.
Fukuchiyama Station is relatively small compared to big city stations like Kyoto and Osaka, making it easy to transfer to different lines and platforms.
