Forget the hustle and bustle, take it slow at a café with views of Ine Bay.

Opened in 2017, this café is located in the Funaya Biyori section of Ine Bay, with buildings that have architecture inspired by the funaya (boat houses) built on the sea. Ine Bay is a calm inland sea that fans out in front of you from the interior of the cafe. It was designed so that the sea can be seen from anywhere in the restaurant. The interior is also made with blue tiles and fabrics that are ‘healing’ inspired. Ine Cafe serves a variety of house-made desserts and drinks that use ingredients from Ine. In addition to year-round fare such as cheesecake that uses local eggs, gateau chocolate, and homemade honey lemonade, seasonal desserts are also be available. Enjoy the seasonal flavors made from the ingredients available at that time, such as the Ine Mankai sake lees mousse and local sweet potato desserts.

The windows on the 1st and 2nd floors are designed so that you are looking out only on the surface of Ine Bay, giving you a sense of unity with the sea. We want people to relax and take in the beauty of Ine Bay. We also have a fun photo spot that results in many insta-worthy shots. The restaurant also has a small shopt. The items have been selected from across the region, and include limited edition Funaya-design hand towels, dried seaweed from Tango, Amanohashidate oil sardines, original postcards, and more.
